When is the best time to buy a home?
Deciding when to purchase a home can be confusing.  Prices can fluctuate due to the economy in general.  A poor economy can often mean lower home prices.  Home prices also vary seasonally, with slightly lower prices in the middle of winter.  In general, these fluctuations are the result of imbalances in supply and demand. When there are more sellers than buyers, prices go down.
Prices can also bounce up as well, if demand exceeds supply. Most importantly however, is consideration of your individual situation.  Are you ready both financially and emotionally for a move?  Think about what you hope to achieve with your purchase.
Perhaps you are looking for a place to raise your family; perhaps you are tired of paying rent and the lack of freedom to personalize your living arrangements. Regardless of the time of year or the state of the economy, there are always opportunities available to those that look for them.  If you would like my assistance in finding your perfect home, please let me know.
